Karazin National University became one of the winners of the Erasmus+ Program for the Jean Monnet Actions in 2017. The program’s aim is to support activities in the fields of education, training, youth, and sport.
One hundred thirty-eight projects have been selected from program countries and 90 from partner countries, among which 10 Ukrainian universities and one NGO are proposed for EU co-funding for the implementation of 12 projects within Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Actions 2017. Total projects’ budget is about €400,000.
“Instruments of the EU Environmental Policy” project is among them. An international project group with the participants of Karazin University’s Faculty of Ecology submitted it for the competition.
In the context of four Erasmus+ Calls for Proposals published between 2014 and 2017, in total 410 proposals were submitted by Ukrainian organizations, out of which 41 Jean Monnet projects were selected for funding. The total grant amount allocated to them was more than €1.2 million.
