Businessmen Join Efforts to Promote Energy Efficiency

Today the largest Ukrainian energy efficiency forum Build & Energy. 2017 has started in Kharkiv Sports Palace.

The fair offering renewable energy equipment and new energy efficient technologies has gathered over 115 businesses from 14 cities of Ukraine. It will last until September 30.

At the site near the Expo building, the boilers and solar batteries are installed to attract the visitors. “We hope there will be more visitors tomorrow,” says a representative of the boilers producing company. “Energy efficiency opportunities need to be promoted better. And the involved businesses should act together, with better informational support.”

However, inside the huge hall, there are plenty of visitors. Educational training is held together with the presentations of the new technologies, energy-efficient equipment, and construction materials in numerous trading pavilions.

The interesting feature of the forum is that the visitors can not only purchase a solar battery or some insulation building blocks, but they also have a chance to obtain interest-free credit on the spot – from the banks supporting renewable energy industry. Here one can find representatives of these financial institutions and funds.

Three panel discussions devoted to Ukraine’s energy strategy, funding sources and successful examples of implemented projects are held within the forum, involving local self-government, representatives of the Ministry of Energy and the State Agency for Energy Efficiency of Ukraine.
