The second regional festival of folk art Sharivskyi Dyvokrai gathered 58 folk groups and 60 works of craftsmen in Bohodukhiv district.
Master classes, traditional and modern craft were presented on the territory of Sharivka palace. Embroidered towels, ornaments, woodwork, straw, paintings and other works of masters from different parts of Kharkiv, Poltava, and Zakarpattia regions were presented at the exhibition and fair. And folk bands from all over Ukraine performed at the festival opening.
According to the organizers, the main goal of the festival is to show the beauty of Ukrainian art, songs and crafts, and, most importantly, to preserve Sharivka palace, one of the most beautiful architectural and park ensembles of the region.
It is expected that more than 5,000 guests will visit the event this year. The organizers plan to turn it into an annual event to start every third Saturday of June.
