Honorary Consulate of France Explains its Work to Young Kharkivites

On January 30, the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of France was the first in Kharkiv to welcome the participants of the International Open Doors project.

During the visit, the project participants talked to Serhii Polituchiy, Honorary Consul of the French Republic in Kharkiv, Sumy and Poltava regions. In his presentation, Polituchiy described the general state of cooperation between France and Ukraine. The honorary consul pointed out the need to expand economic cooperation, first of all, in the areas of IT and education.

Also, the representative of the consulate, Iryna Chesna, explained how the agency works and introduced events and grants that popularize the French culture in Ukraine.

The visit to the consulate was arranged as a part of the International Open Doors project. The organizers announce that the similar visits to international organizations, situated in Kharkiv, will happen each month. They invite all interested in international relations to apply for participation. The project is initiated by Artem Tkachenko, the head of the Committee on the Development of International Cooperation and Image Projects under the Kharkiv Youth City Council.
