“Last month, Kharkiv Airport exceeded the pre-quarantine rates of passenger traffic. It is 5 percent higher than in the same period of 2019. A total of 126,900 passengers traveled through the airport,” informs the airport press service.
The carriers operated 587 flights from the airport, 15 percent more than in the same period of June 2019. Overall, there were 368 international and 219 domestic flights.
Four Turkish cities including Antalya, Istanbul, Bodrum, Dalaman and the Ukrainian capital Kyiv are among the most popular destinations.
The network of direct flights from Kharkiv to the popular tourist destination was also expanded. SkyUp Airlines has launched regular flights to Heraklion (Greece), Tivat (Montenegro) and resumed flights to Burgas (Bulgaria). Pegasus Airlines launched regular flights to Bodrum (Turkey).
