Kharkiv military enterprises, which are the part of Ukroboronprom State Concern, continue to demonstrate positive dynamic.
Kharkiv Morozov Machine-Building Design Bureau sales were over UAH 490 million ($ 16,987,454) in 2017. The enterprise paid more than UAH 50 million ($ 1,733,413) taxes and fees.
Ukrainian Army received a batch of modernized BTR-4 containing latest Bureau’s developments. The feedback from the military allowed to implement more than 900 changes, which significantly improved the military vehicle.
The latest Bureau’s armored vehicle BTR-4MV1 with German Deutz engine and American Allison transmission complies with the NATO standards and is specifically designed for the use in the conflict area in Donbas.
According to the State Concern, Kharkiv State Aircraft Manufacturing Company was successfully revived and some fixed assets were replaced.
Ukroboronprom states that forging and foundry shops, which have not operated for four years already, were restarted. This allowed the company to start production of spare parts for aircraft. As a result, the plant has been able to provide maintenance of seven Antonov An-72 and An-74 Coaler aircraft for customers in Egypt, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Ukraine.
Reference: Last year, Ukroboronprom State Concern produced and supplied more than 3,500 weapons and military equipment to the armed forces of Ukraine and fulfilled 100 percent of orders received.
