Svitlo Shakhtarya Ships Equipment to Estonia

Svitlo Shakhtarya Plant, part of Corum Group, manufactured SP326 Scraper Conveyor for VKG Kaevandused OÜ in Estonia.

According to Plant’s press-release, this special project differs from large-scale production by a number of technical features that meet client’s special technical requirements.

The scraper conveyor will be operated for oil shale extraction in Ojamaa mine. It was handed over to Estonian partners’ side at the beginning of November.

According to the Corum’s administration, it took the engineers five months to complete the conveyor. It enables simultaneously loading of material in four positions instead of standard two.

In addition, the engineers considered all the mined rock features and adapted the conveyor’s individual parts for that specific purpose.

Engineers managed to identify, design and engineer an individual solution taking into consideration the client’s specific needs. “We want to solve the individual problem by providing unique solutions for individual companies, rather than solely sell standardized machinery. This principle is guiding our work,” Corum’s director of marketing Mykhailo Potapov noted.

According to him, such an approach allowed the enterprise to complete the stock of future sales orders for 2018 already. The Plant’s load has reached more than 100% of its capacity since the beginning of 2017. During nine months of 2017, the international contracts have increased by a quarter compared to the same period in 2016.
