The Ukrainian-Moroccan center opened at the Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics on February 23. It aims to organize and support scientific-educational cooperation and integration of Moroccan students into the Ukrainian society.
Almost 3,000 students from Morocco currently study in Kharkiv universities. “There are several cooperation agreements between Kharkiv and Moroccan universities, which are being successfully implemented,” deputy head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Anatolii Babichev noted.
According to him, the center’s opening will help in further development of educational, scientific, cultural and economic contacts.
The cooperation between the Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics with Morocco has lasted over 30 years. The university’s rector Volodymyr Ponomarenko hopes that the center’s work will improve the further education of students. Now, the students of some specialties will be taught only in French. The Moroccan students from other universities will be able to learn about Ukrainian and Moroccan cultures in this center as well.
